Hi, welcome
My name is Amedeo van Leeuwen. I’m currently based in Dordrecht and have spent the past 10+ years working where logistics, business processes and IT meet. I started out in logistics, which gave me a strong understanding of operations and process efficiency. Over time, I discovered I really enjoy using technology to improve the way people work: making processes smoother, systems smarter, and daily work a little easier.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in IT support, business analysis and functional application management roles, often in environments built around custom solutions. I’ve worked closely with both business teams and developers, helping translate ideas and problems into practical improvements.
This usually meant being involved from start to finish: understanding business needs, shaping solutions, writing specifications, refining with developers, testing, supporting UAT, managing rollouts, training users and providing aftercare. I’ve worked on both small improvements and larger international projects, including regular travel to support teams on-site.
Outside of work, I like staying active, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I’m also someone who enjoys learning new things and experimenting with tech — whether that’s building this website, playing around with Python, or exploring privacy and security tools for my personal data.
